BGSU ARTSX: PROCESS

  • Bowling Green State University hosts a one day Arts festival each year on campus and displays performances, crafts, and gifts. Each year there is a new theme around the event. The 2025 event theme of “Process” explored the dual meaning - the act of creation and movement. The guest artists featured Gabriel Brass Band. I had the opportunity to work alongside two other students to help bring this event to life.

Poster Design

The ArtsX poster uses a CMYK-inspired color palette and geometric forms derived from the architecture of the Wolfe Center for the Arts and the Fine Arts Center, where the event was held. The Gabriel Brass Band, the event’s headliner, is featured through layered collage imagery incorporated throughout the composition. Posters were produced in 11″ × 17″ and 24″ × 36″ formats.

Web & Paper Advertisements

The web and print advertisements extended the visual system established by the poster design, ensuring cohesive branding across platforms. The campaign appeared in multiple print publications, digital placements, and social media promotions leading up to the event.

Stickers

The sticker series incorporates a holographic foil treatment to capture the event’s high-energy atmosphere. Geometric forms derived from the venue’s architecture strengthen brand cohesion and extend the established visual system.

Logo Design

A high-energy hockey goal animation that reflects the speed, intensity, and excitement of the sport. Designed to elevate the fan experience, the animation adds impact to goal moments and drives audience engagement during games.
